  • Secrets of the Magdalene Scrolls
    Order from Living Free Press.
Ellen Montgomery, a research lawyer and newly divorced, together with Jill Ashland, a teacher on sabbatical embark on a hike through the Pyrenees Mountains.  Against the backdrop of the Pyrenees Mountains in southern France, the two American women while hiking discover by unique circumstances, an unknown cave containing jars holding never before known scrolls. The women, not wanting the scrolls to lay dormant for years as the Dead Sea Scrolls and the scrolls of Nag Hammadi had been, set out on a quest to have the scrolls deciphered. As the mystery unfolds, a most unlikely quartet comes together teaming the two women with a rich American businessman and a disillusioned French priest. Bent on getting the scrolls deciphered, the quartet is pursued by forces wanting to prevent the scrolls from being given to the public. At last, the tale of Mary Magdalene’s presence in France and her connection with the Black Madonnas is made known with its many twists and surprises. Based on the culmination of years of research and study, the author using a fast paced style of writing, weaves an absorbing tale of passion, intrigue, abduction and romance while revealing the truth of the relationship of Mary Magdalene and Jesus along with their message. As the quartet is thrust into a pursuit-laden journey that takes them from the Pyrenees to Lourdes, Toulouse and Paris, the foursome’s lives are forever changed by what the scrolls reveal. The reader is riveted to the story until the surprising climax.
