  • This Is Living: How I Found Health and Happiness (1991)
Also released as Diet for Life

  • Shakespeare for My Father: A One-Woman Play in Two Acts (2001)

  • Journal: A Mother and Daughter's Recovery from Breast Cancer (2004)
"Late in 2002 British actress Lynn Redgrave learned that she had breast cancer. After sharing the news with her family she made the decision to undergo surgery, followed by a month-long regimen of chemotherapy and radiation. Together with her daughter Annabel Clark, then a photography student, she determined to record the experience through journal entries and Annabel's photographs, creating a compelling document of treatment and recovery with an unprecedented level of intimacy. With heart-rending honesty, in bittersweet moments as beautiful as they are difficult, the photographs and journal entries illustrate a personal journey through the leading cancer diagnosed in women today. An essay by the well-known writer and medical authority Dr. Barron Lerner provides further insight into the disease-where we were twenty years ago in awareness of cancer, where we are now, and how far we still have to go to create awareness. Journal offers information and provides resources to patients and survivors, and spurs further research for women's health. 'Went to the service at the Congregational church....By the end I feel peaceful and optimistic…a way to be part of the community. A way to feel I am not alone in my worries. Upsetting phone calls regarding Annabel photographing at chemo, etc. Thank God that finally got cleared up. I cried so much. I realized how much her documenting this means to me.' • Bertrand Russell and A.N. Whitehead (1997)
China's two greatest philosophers Confucius and Lao Tzu were intensely interested in how we should live and how a good society is to be governed. their wisdom has profoundly shaped Eastern cultures over the centuries. Westerners are only now beginning to understand the central importance of the tradition and community emphasized in Chinese thought for over two thousand years.  Narrated by Lynne Redgrave.

  • Socrates (1997)
Though he left no written works Socrates was the first great philosopher of the West. His conversations and dramatic death in ancient A thens were recorded by a number of writers (including Plate); they show that Socrates was deeply interested in self-knowledge and virtue. Socrates also believed in the rule of law even refusing to flee when he was condemned to death. His ceaseless questionings have set timeless standards for the relentless pursuit of truth.
      Narrated by Lynne Redgrave.
