Chris and David Mysteries
  1. L.A. Heat (2006)
In L.A. Heat, a mystery thriller, in-the-closet Homicide Detective David Eric Laine suspects Chris Bellamere of butchering his lovers -- only to fall in love with the very man who might very well be a vicious serial killer.

David must come out of the closet to save his lover from becoming the newest trophy in a serial killer's boneyard. He must overcome his doubt and believe in Chris's innocence. They tangle in a dark world of leather bars and the frenetic heat of the West Hollywood and Silverlake club scene in pursuit of a killer. Chris can't believe he's falling in love with this relentless and cynical cop who's out to destroy his life. David isn't even his type. But Chris finds he wants something more in his life than his own sexual trophies and can't resist David's dark lure.

As friends and lovers are singled out for death, and the ring of suspicion tightens around him, Chris reluctantly partners with David to prove his innocence. Chris exploits his expertise in computers to follow a trail to the virtual boneyard of a killer, someone he knows all too well.

  • I Do -- an anthology in support of marriage equality  ~ Kris Jacen
Do you support the right of any human being to marry the person they love? The right to say 'I Do' to a life of commitment and sharing with that one special person? We do.

We hope that marriage will soon be a dream that everyone can share. That's why the following authors of LGBT fiction have donated stories to this anthology, in aid of Lambda Legal Fund's fight for marriage equality:

Alex Beecroft, Allison Wonderland, Cassidy Ryan, Charlie Cochrane, Clare London, Emma Collingwood, Erastes, Fiona Glass, Jeanne Barrack, Jerry L. Wheeler, Lee Rowan, Lisabet Sarai, Mallory Path, Marquesate, Moondancer Drake, P.A. Brown, Sharon Maria Bidwell, Storm Grant, Tracey Pennington, Z.A Maxfield, and Zoe Nichols.

All profits from the sale of this anthology will be donated to the Lambda Legal Defense to fight Prop 8 in support of marriage equality for all.
